Prime Minister William Mackenzie King is expected to announce a further liberalization of Canada’s immigration laws within the week, it was reported here during the week-end.
Special immigration teams are now in Germany checking the applications of some 2,000 displaced persons. The first group of immigrants is expected to sail for Canada April 4 aboard the Aquitania.
