Receptions for Canadian and South African tourists were arranged today by the Jewish Agency and the Jewish National Fund in recognition of the work done by the Zionist Organizations of Canada and South Africa.

Addressing the Canadian guests, Dr. Maurice Hexter, American member of the Executive of the Jewish Agency, praised Canadian Jewry and emphasized that it was with the funds from Canada that the Vaadi Haawarith land was redeemed.

Mrs. Dunkelman, speaking in behalf of the Canadians, replied that the Zionists of Canada are extremely anxious to see the resolutions adopted at the Canadian Zionist convention carried out by the Zionist Executive in their full spirit.

The group from South Africa consists of 140 persons, the largest group ever visiting Palestine from that continent.
