The University of Manitoba announced today that it would accept State of Israel bonds for its $3,000,000 capital fund campaign. Peter D. Curry, general chairman of the capital fund drive, hailed the decision by the university to accept Israel bonds as a move which will provide for better prospects of contributions for the campaign. The drive, the largest in the university’s history, will be augmented by a contribution from the Province of Manitoba of two dollars for every dollar contributed by the public.
