A pledge to combat racial and religious prejudice and to encourage cordial relations between Christians and Jews was signed this week-end by all 21 candidates running for British Parliament in the East End section of this city. The pledge reads”

“I pledge myself to combat racial and religious prejudice and to encourage cordial relations and mutual respect between Christian and Jew, Protestant and Catholic, atheist and believer, colored and white.”
