Cardinal Spellman Makes Personal Contribution of $1,000 to Greater New York U.J.A.

Cardinal Spellman has made a personal contribution of $1,000 to the 1947 campaign of the United Jewish Appeal, it was announced today by Edward M.M. Warburg, chairman of the U.J.A. of Greater New York. The gift was transmitted through Charles H. Silver, vice-chairman of the campaign and a personal friend of the prelate.
