Leaders of the free trade unions and of the international Catholic trade union movement will visit Israel in July on goodwill missions and a delegation representing the Communist-controlled World Federation of Trade Unions will send a fact-finding mission here, Aharon Becker, Secretary-General of the Histadrut, the Israel federation of labor, reported today.
Mr. Becker, who returned from Geneva from the annual conference of the International Labor Organization, said the Communist trade-union mission would be the first it had even sent to Israel. Mr. Becker said that the Swiss Federation of Trade Unions had joined the campaign to raise funds for Israel in Switzerland.
