Stonehill College, a Catholic institution, announced today appointment of Rabbi Samuel Ruderman of Temple Beth-El, Fall River, to its theology department faculty. Rabbi Ruderman will lecture on contemporary Judaism and Old Testament themes at the North Easton institution. Rabbi Ruderman, a wartime Navy chaplain, has been a member of the faculty of the Jewish Theological Seminary and of Connecticut College.
