Iona College, a Catholic Institution, will offer for the first time this year a course in conversational Hebrew in its General Studies-Adult Education evening program of college courses for the general public, it was announced today.

The college introduced the evening course as an educational community service. No academic credits are required for the program which starts next Monday. Bernard Troy, a graduate of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, will teach the new Iona College course.
