James Gerity Jr., a Catholic layman and vice chairman of the sponsors committee of Religion in American Life, has donated $1,000 toward the cost of rebuilding the bomb-damaged Atlanta, Georgia, Reform Temple, the committee announced here this week-end. Mr. Gerity, president of a broadcasting station in Michigan, called the bombing an “outrage:” and expressed the hope that his action would help bring about “better human relations.”
