Catholic circles in Jerusalem continue their propaganda in connection with the blasphemy trial against the Doar Ha’yom.

Rakibion, the organ of the Latin patriarch, treats the verdict rendered by the court editorially and compares the thirty pounds fine to the thirty silver coins of Judas Iscariot. The prosecuting attorney was a Jew who could not understand nor feel the points involved in this trial, the paper states.
