Center Executives Elect

The National Association of Jewish Center Executives, at the closing session of its convention here, elected M. H. Chaseman of Albany, N. Y., as national president. Other officers elected are:

Vice-presidents, Allan Bloom, Indianapolis, Ind.; Miriam Ephraim, New York City; William Cohen, Brooklyn, N. Y.; William Pinsker, Brockton, Mass.; secretary-treasurer, Harry S. Albert, Paterson, N. J.; executive committee, Isidore Beierfeld, Yonkers, N. Y.; George Feldman, Allentown, Pa.; Mrs. Esther Jameson, Newark, N. J.; Rabbi Alter Landesman, Brooklyn, N. Y.; Samuel Shair, Scranton, Pa.; Louis H. Sobel, Bronx, N. Y.; Dr. Mordecai Soltes, New York, and Samuel Levine, Detroit.

Resolutions adopted by the Center Executives’ convention include endorsement of cooperation with major communal projects, including reconstruction of Palestine, Jewish education, community and social service agencies, reconstruction of Jewish life in Europe, general secular and civic activities, George Washington Forest, Palestine Day and development of Palestine program.
