While denying recognition to modern Hebrew and Yiddish schools in Poland, the Polish government today officially recognized the Chedarim, the Jewish private religious schools, as having the same rights as public schools.

News of the recognition was officially made public today through the Agudath Israel, the pro-government extreme orthodox Jewish party.
