Chelouche Urged to Remain As Bulgarian Consul

Moshe Chelouche, who resigned as Bulgarian Consul General in Palestine recently in protest against projected anti Jewish legislation in Bulgaria, today disclosed receipt of a telegram from Foreign Minister I. Popoff asking him to withdraw his resignation. “There is no reason for your resignation; please continue your duties,” the telegram said.
