Chez Goldenberg, a well-known Jewish delicatessen in Paris’ Jewish quarter, is closing. The legendary restaurant in the Marais district is expected to liquidate within the next few days. The restaurant, one of the only Ashkenazi Jewish institutions remaining in Paris, was ordered closed for failing to meet city health codes.
