Chicago’s Jewish federation has awarded $50,000 to local Jewish gay and lesbian programs. The federation’s Jewish Lesbian and Gay Fund is the first such fund to award grants to the Jewish gay community, according to the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago.
