Dr. Gyula Fischer, chief rabbi of Budapest, has died at the age of 83, according to the Hungarian press. Dr. Fischer taught at the Rabbinical Seminary in Budapest for thirty years and interpreted Judeo-Hellenio literature, through translations into the Hungarian.
