Chief Rabbi Isaac Alkalay of Yugoslavia arrived here today from Turkey after a miraculous escape from Belgrade. Rabbi Alkalay escaped with his family from Yugoslavia on April 7 and proceeded to Istanbul, mostly on foot. It is reported that his son-in-law has been captured by the Nazis.
