Dr. T. Lewenstein, Chief Rabbi of Zurich, died here at 83. Dr. Lewenstein, who held the post of chief rabbi of The Hague, Copenhagen and Zurich at one time or another, was president of the Agudas Israel World Organization from 1919 to 1923 and remained a member of the organization’s rabbinical council until his death.
