Mrs. Netta Levin, of Pretoria, has presented to the South African War Fund the manuscript of a chapter of a book on the South African war, which Winston Churchill was writing when he was a prisoner of war in Pretoria. The manuscript has been purchased for £100 by Sir Ernest Oppenheimer, who has offered to loan it to the Afrikana Museum for public display.
