Classes resumed Thursday morning at most Israeli universities. A predawn agreement between lecturers and the Finance Ministry ended the monthlong strike. The lecturers reserved the right to strike again for their professional rights. The universities may extend the semester or offer Friday classes to make up for time lost, Israel Radio reported.
