Colombian Ambassador in France Asserts Exodus Visas Were Forged, Later Destroyed

The Colombian Foreign Ministry has received a cable from its ambassador in Paris stating that the Colombian visas reportedly held by the Exodus immigrants were forged and were subsequently destroyed, presenting further investigation, it was announced here today.

It was also revealed that the consul at Marseilles reported that he had issued only 60 visas this year. Dr. Camilo Cortes Zapata, chief of the Bureau of foreigners in the police force, stated that only 100 Jewish immigrants arrived in the country since January.
