A bill to broaden the present Colorado statute against discrimination in employment was introduced in the State House of Representatives here today. The current state law on this issue applied only to employers of six persons or more. Under the proposed amendment to the State Anti-Discrimination Act, bias in the field of employment would be forbidden to any person or firm with two persons or more on the payroll. Thus, virtually every employer in the state would be forbidden to discriminate against any person on grounds of race, or religion.
