A sum exceeding $13,000,000 was forwarded to the United Jewish Appeal from Jan. 1, 1948, through Nov. 10 of this year, a report released by the Combined Jewish Appeal here disclosed today. A total of $7,252,592 was sent to the U.J.A. last year while $5,789,266 was forwarded to the U.J.A. from Jan. 1 to Nov. 10, 1949. The report to contributors revealed that the United Jewish Building Fund, a partner in the Combined Jewish Appeal, received no cash remittances during this period.
