A conspiracy on the part of communist teachers to oust a newly employed Jewish teacher, in a public school in Alexandria, near Krementchug, Ukraine, was discovered by the authorities.
The Jewish teacher, Miss Esther Laginskaya, several days ago received an anonymous letter, declaring: “If you will not leave our school, you will be killed, because we never before had a Jewish teacher in our school.” An investigation disclosed that the letter was written by Nadia Vassileva, a teacher in the same school, with the consent of the other members of the staff.
