Condoleezza Rice met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. After Tuesday’s meeting in Ramallah, the U.S. secretary of state said the United States wants an “urgent and enduring” peace in Lebanon and added that the world needs to remain focused on establishing a Palestinian state living in peace alongside Israel.
