Admiration for the courage and determination with which the Soviet armies are battling the Germans and the hope that Russian Jewry will soon be enabled “to contribute to the upbuilding of Palestine” is voiced in a resolution adopted here today at a conference of the Jewish Orthodox Pioneer Organization known as the Brith Halutzim Datiim of Britain.
The conference also adopted a resolution of greetings to members of the organization in all parts of the British empire, expressing the hope that their sacrifices “will be rewarded by a speedy formation of a Jewish Army.” Another resolution offers whatever help possible to the United Nations.
