Confirming the statement of the Colonial Office, the Palestine government today informed the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that no new appointment has been made to fill the position left vacant by the resignation of Lewis French, as Palestine Land Commissioner.
The government stated that Mr. French’s assistant, Andrews, is merely acting in place of Mr. French.
