A “dollar drive” to raise $7,500 to liquidate the debt of Congregation Ohabai Shalome, the oldest congregation in San Francisco Jewry, was launched March 6 under the direction of Sam M. Markowitz, newly elected president of the congregation.

The Congress of Moslems residing in Europe has now been fixed to take place in Geneva this August, the bi-monthly periodical “La Tribune d’Orient” learns. The plan of #nvening a Congress of the seven mil-### Moslems residing in Europe was #ade at the Pan-Islamic Congress in Jerusalem at the end of 1931. Mohmoud Zalem Bey, former Judge of the Mixed Tribunal in Egypt, is conducting the preparatory work connected with the Congress.
