Representative Emanuel Celler, of Brooklyn, stated tonight that “uncontestable evidence” had convinced him that the Nazis in Germany were aiding anti-Semitic elements in Poland and “are behind the bill before the Polish Parliament to prohibit Hebrew ritual slaughtering.”

He declared in an address over Station WHN, sponsored by the American Committee Appeal for the Relief of Jews in Poland and the Federation of Polish Jews in America, that Nazi agents were making “a determined effort to transplant Hitlerism” in Poland and to convert Poland into “a Nazi stronghold.”
