Rep. Franklin D. Roosevelt, Jr., of New York, arrived here by air this morning for a four-day visit. Immediately upon his arrival he went to Jerusalem where he conferred with President Chaim Weizmann at the King David Hotel.
The Congressman said he hoped to become acquainted with Israel’s latest problems in order that he may continue to aid the State of Israel Bond Issue in the United States. Tonight he will be the dinner guest of Prime Minister David Ben Gurion, Finance Minister Eliezer Kaplan and Labor Minister Golda Myerson. The Congressman is expected to visit the Foreign Ministry tomorrow.
