To mark the conclusion of the activities of the Foreign Language Division of the Democratic National Campaign Committee of which Congressman Adolph J. Sabath was Chairman, a number of representatives of the foreign language press tendered a luncheon to Congressman Sabath on Friday at the Hotel Duane.
Representatives of the Jewish press and of leading Jewish organizations attended.
Addresses were delivered by Bernard G. Richards, Director of the Foreign Language Division; Dr. S. Margoshes, editor of the Day; Congressman Sabath and Congressman Dickstein.
Hope was expressed that under the administration of President-elect Roosevelt, a modification of the application of immigration regulations to enable the reunion of families, would be possible to secure.
