President william Green of the American Federation of Labor was today presented with an atlas of Palestine in recognition of his friendly attitude towards Jewish achievements in Palestine and the moral support which the American Federation of Labor has given to the Histadruth, the Jewish Federation of Labor in Palestine.
The presentation was made by Israel Mereminsky, Histadruth leader now in this country, following an address on Jewish labor achievements in Palestine which he delivered before the convention of the A.F. of L. now in session here. Mr. Mereminsky also pictured the Jews in Europe and expressed thanks to the A.F. of L. for voicing its protest against the Nazi anti-Jewish atrocities.
