Gilbert I. Friedel, of Baltimore, was elected Grand Master of the Independent Order of B’rith Sholom, at its 42nd annual convention at the Breakers Hotel here, attended by 700 delegates. The order takes in lodges and auxiliaries in Baltimore as well as throughout Virginia and the District of Columbia.
