Cornerstone is Laid for Maccabi Village

The cornerstone for a Jewish village to be named Maccabi, after the World Maccabi Sports Organization, was laid today by Lord Melchett, president.

The village will be built on land belonging to the Jewish National Found. M. M. Ussishkin, chairman of the Jewish National Fund, and members of the World Zionist Executive, participated in the ceremony.
