The cornerstone for a Yeshiva named for the late Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel, Isaac Halevi Herzog, was laid today in Nehalim village near Petach Tikvah. The widow of the late Chief Rabbi and one of his sons, Colonel Haim Herzog, attended the ceremony which was addressed by Interior Minister Moshe Shapiro and Education Minister Abba Eban.
