Croatia’s first Jewish museum opened. The museum that opened May 15 in the city of Dubrovnik features a collection of Judaica brought to Croatia after the Spanish expulsion of 1492 that includes Torah scrolls dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
