Difficulties have arisen in carrying out the regulations which provides for dismissal of Jewish sales agents and traveling representatives to reduce their number to the ratio permitted under the so-called “Jewish law.”
Such reduction, it is revealed in the press, would greatly affect Hungary’s commercial stability and economic life. The newspaper Ujsag reports that instructions have been issued to use discretion in application of the regulation and refrain from applying it to such Jewish sales agents as have been in service with their firms for more than 10 years or are employed in local industries.
