The Daughters of the American Revolution now in session here, approved a resolution opposing adoption of the United Nations Covenant on Human Rights on the ground that it “would restrict freedom of religion and speech.”
The resolution was adopted without discussion. It said if the covenant were adopted it could restrict freedom of religion and speech, and thus “could destroy the Bill of Rights of the Constitution of the United States.”
