The Delegation Associations Israelitas Argentinas (DAIA), the central organization representing Argentine Jewry, has cabled the chairman of the 24th Soviet Party Congress in Moscow on behalf of Soviet Jews who wish to emigrate. The DAIA asked that in this International Year for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, Soviet Jews should be given full cultural and religious rights, including the right of emigration, and that the official anti-Zionist campaign be curtailed. At ceremonies announcing the cables, remarks were offered by DAIA president Dr. Sion Cohen Imach and by Dr. Isaac Goldenberg, president of the Latin American Jewish Congress.
