Dallas Rabbis Join in Approving Integration in the Public Schools

All five rabbis in this city joined in expressing approval of a statement by 300 Protestant clergymen of Dallas supporting the integration of children of all races in the public school system.

Noting that the United States Supreme Court had “spelled out in law what the prophets of our faith declared long ago,” the rabbis expressed the hope that the citizens of Dallas “will move wisely, and morally and spiritually toward the orderly fulfillment of the law.”
