Daniel B. Hoyt, president of Station WHBI, the only radio station in the metropolitan area to broadcast the addresses of Father Charles E. Coughlin, sa today he agreed with the priest’s views. “A number of Jews have called the station and said that Father Coughlin should be taken off,” Mr. Hoyt told the J.T.A. “I’m beginning to think that maybe there’s a lot to some of the things that he’s been saying. I’m heart and soul against Communists and Socialists, and I would run them all into the ocean.” He added that “the Jewish press and other publishers are making too much of this and are taking it too seriously.”
