Daniel Thursz, who served as B’nai B’rith’s executive vice president from 1977 to 1987, died Tuesday in suburban Washington. Thursz, 71, who had recently undergone heart surgery, also had served as director of leadership programs for the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization for 23 years.
