Danzig Hospitals to Bar Jews, “aryan” Doctors Refuse to Treat Them

Anti-Semitism was extended here today by decision of the Senate to “Aryanize” hospitals and welfare institutions controlled by the Nazi-dominated Government. Beginning April I, ill Jews no longer will be admitted to these institutions, and Jewish doctors and nurses employed in them must quit by that date. A number of Danzig physicians meanwhile issued statements advising their Jewish patients to seek medical care from Jewish doctors.
