Replying to Jewish protests against the anti-Jewish attacks at the Danzig beach, the Senate today issued a statement charging that the attack was provoked by the “insolent behaviour of Polish and other Jews.”

The Senate statement also holds that the police have ordered the removal of anti-Jewish placards from automobiles. Despite this alleged order, however, placards are still prominently displayed on Nazi autos.
