The Cross of the Legion of Honor has been conferred upon David Sarnoff, president of the Radio Corporation of America and pioneer in the science of radio, it was announced yesterday. The presentation took place in the Consulate General in La Maison Francaise, Rockefeller Center.

In presenting the Cross and the Diploma of the Legion of Honor, Consul General Fontnouvelle said:

“It it my great pleasure to inform you that the President of the French Republic has bestowed upon you the Cross of Knight of the Legion of Honor, in recognition of your pioneering and great accomplishments in the science of radio.”
