Deputy David Matalon, who was the founder of the B’nai B’rith movement in Salonica and who also brought about the establishment of the new Zionist Club here, died to-day at the age of 59. The funeral, which will take place tomorrow, is being arranged by the Salonica Jewish Community as a mark of appreciation of the many services which he rendered to the population of Salonica in his public and private life.
