Over 1,000 demonstrators paraded outside the German Consulate here protesting the West German Government’s decision to cease war crimes prosecution after May 8.

The protest was sponsored by a number of local and national organizations, including the Montreal Labor Council, the Jewish Labor Committee of Canada, the Quebee Federation of Labor and the Association of Former Concentration Camp Inmates.
