Deputy Says France Wants Jewish People

“We want Jews in France,” declared Deputy Charles Lambert, author of the immigration laws favorable to the Jews, at a meeting of the Jewish Debating Club. “The Jews have no fatherland and they therefore promptly adapt themselves to French conditions. Jews are in our French family.”
