Despite plans to evacuate Israelis from the Gaza Strip, the settler community there is growing. Interior Ministry figures released this week showed that Gaza’s settler population grew by 4.8 percent over the last six months, more than the overall growth figure of 2.6 percent for Gaza and the West Bank together.
