A panel discussion on the advisability of substituting a method of collecting annual continuing membership dues for the present system of fund campaigns featured the annual meeting of the Jewish Welfare Federation of Detroit. Joseph H. Ehrlich and Judge Charles Rubiner sponsored the membership dues system. Fred. M. Butzel and Abe Srere represented the opposition.

Mrs. Mordecai Ezekiel, wife of the economic adviser to Secretary of Agriculture Wallace, has been appointed supervisor of Washington’s nursery school system, relatives here have been informed. Mrs. Ezekiel is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Finsterwald of this city.
